1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to use the service. Provide accurate age information and use only an account you are authorized to access. Protect your sign-in credentials. Email accounts use a password; Apple accounts use Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for your account activity and must notify us of suspected misuse.
2. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your content. By uploading it, you grant Friendlæ a non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, reproduce, format, display, and deliver it as necessary to operate the service, show your profile, send your messages, and perform moderation. You must own the content or have the necessary permission, including consent from people depicted where required. This permission ends when content is deleted, subject to limited retention described in our Privacy Policy and copies already received or independently retained by others.
3. Community conduct
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not upload illegal content, sexually explicit material or nudity, child exploitation material, graphic violence, threats, harassment, non-consensual intimate content, scams, impersonation, spam, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not evade blocks, scrape profiles, collect private information without consent, or misuse reporting tools. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts when necessary to enforce these rules.
4. Connections and verification
Friendlæ provides social discovery and communication tools, not a guarantee of compatibility, safety, identity, or outcomes. People choose whether to accept requests. Verification badges reflect our review process and do not guarantee government identity, age, background, or trustworthy behavior. Use care when sharing information or meeting someone.
5. Credits and monthly refills
One æ is used to start a new conversation through a message request. Messages in an accepted conversation are free. The Free monthly refill target is 50æ, Friendlæ+ is 100æ, and Premium is 250æ. A monthly refill tops eligible usable credits up to the target; it does not add that target amount on top of an existing balance. The balance and eligibility shown in the app govern a purchase. Purchased credits are separate from refill credits and are subject to refund adjustments. Credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and are not a bank balance or financial product.
6. Apple subscriptions and purchases
Prices, billing periods, and available products are shown by Apple before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through Apple. Manage or cancel in Wallet → Manage subscription or your device’s subscription settings. Upgrades, downgrades, and effective dates follow Apple’s subscription rules and the details presented at purchase. Entitlements and credits are delivered after server verification. Purchases are linked to a verified Friendlæ account; restoration and deleted-account recovery require proof of original ownership and are not arbitrary transfers between accounts.
7. Refunds and consumer rights
Apple handles requests for refunds of Apple purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds or revocations may remove entitlements or adjust credits, including credits already spent. These terms do not waive refund rights, consumer guarantees, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Deletion and subscriptions
You can initiate deletion at Account → Delete Account. If you cannot sign in, contact support; we must verify ownership. Deleting an account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately through Apple. Deleting an account may remove access to its credits and history, subject to purchase recovery where supported and mandatory legal rights.
9. Privacy, availability, and third parties
Our Privacy Policy explains data use and retention. We may update or interrupt the service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. External links, advertisers, Apple, and other providers have their own terms. Do not rely on Friendlæ for emergency communications.
10. Responsibility and applicable rights
You are responsible for the content you share and your interactions. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, specific social outcomes, or the conduct of other users. Any limitations apply only to the extent allowed by applicable law; nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and communicate material changes as appropriate. Friendlæ is operated by Ulysses Salas, doing business as Friendlæ. Contact us using the support form. Apple’s standard licensed application agreement applies to the App Store app where applicable.
